OUR TEAM:

On top of the Managing Director and the Managing Partners, the Sparkalis team is composed of a network of professionals that have all worked in the food industry for a number of years and, equally importantly, each of them has many years’ experience in assessing and mentoring start-up projects and leading projects and businesses at global scale.

Together, their expertise covers every aspect of innovation and development, from new product development and consumer insights, to evaluating seed and start-up investment and expansion and business plan designs, through to technology and manufacturing, strategic positioning, development and marketing.

    FILIP ARNAUT | Managing Director

    R&D Director Innovation and Upstream Lab, Puratos. Filip is a skilled start-up mentor and has a lot of experience in structuring win-win collaborations and strategic partnerships with start-ups, academic research groups and food tech companies. He has several board positions and is especially looking forward to connect on plant based, gut health and functional ingredients produced by fermentation.

    Chief Finance Officer, ICT & Legal affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer, Executive Board Member, Puratos. For over 10 years, Jean-Philippe worked with some of the largest private equity companies in the world, developing particular expertise in financing seed companies and start-ups.
